Little Chicken Farms (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates this website to provide information about our breeding program, farm offerings, and online shop. Use of our site and services constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions. We reserve the right to modify, update, or replace any part of these terms at any time. 2. Products and Services

We offer:

• Hatching eggs

• Chicks (local pickup only)

• Merchandise and farm goods (as available)

All product descriptions, availability, and pricing are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to limit quantities or discontinue products at any time.

3. Hatching Eggs & Live Animals

• All hatching egg sales are final. Due to the fragile and perishable nature of eggs, we cannot guarantee hatch rates.

• Once eggs leave our farm, factors such as postal handling, incubation conditions, and temperature variations are beyond our control.

• We ensure eggs are fresh, fertile, and carefully packaged for the best possible outcome.

• Any claims for damaged or broken eggs during shipping must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with clear photographs.

• Live chicks are available for local pickup by appointment only from Monterey to San Diego. We do not currently ship live birds.

4. Shipping and Handling

We use trusted carriers and custom packaging to ensure safe delivery. Shipping costs are included in the price of hatching eggs. Shipping for merchandise orders is calculated at check-out. Any  estimated delivery times are provided for convenience only and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by postal carriers, weather, or other factors beyond our control.

5. Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations

 

All sales are final once an order is placed, including pre-orders. When you order, you take inventory out of stock, and we lose fees on refunding, which is a double hit, so please.. only order with this in mind. The only way we refund is if we cannot fulfill your order. Thank you!

 

We do not accept returns, cancellations (with expectation of refund), or exchanges on hatching eggs, chicks, or perishable items.

 

For merchandise, please contact us within 7 days of delivery for any defects or incorrect items. We will review each case individually.

6. Pre-Orders

Pre-orders secure your place in our seasonal queue and are fulfilled on a first-come, first-served basis.  Fulfillment dates may vary due to hatch rates, flock cycles, and weather. We will contact you with estimated ship or pickup dates and notify you of any significant changes.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this site—including photos, logos, text, designs, and graphics—is the property of Little Chicken Farms and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.

8. Privacy

We respect your privacy. Personal information collected through this site (such as name, address, and email) is used solely to process orders and communicate with customers. We do not sell or share your information with third parties.

• We are not liable for losses related to postal delays, hatching failures, or misuse of our products.

• You assume full responsibility for incubation practices, flock integration, and care of all live animals received.

• Our total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of your order.
